A butter dish with a space for the knife in the tray. This butter keeper keeps your countertop cleaner. It is slip cast with durable white stoneware clay. I decorate all my pottery by hand with wax resist and food safe glazes. This lapis blue glaze is a beautiful  contrast to the warm white floral pattern. 

A perfect gift for a wedding or housewarming. 

Generously sized to fit many sizes of butter  - the lid measures 6 3/4" long x 3 1/2" wide and 3 3/4" tall. Base measures 8"x 5 1/4" x 1/2". Butter dish is microwave and dishwasher safe. Wooden knife should be handwashed for best result.
